Tang Fei

Tang Fei is a writer and critic who dabbles in photography and art. A member of the Shanghai Writer’s Association and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, many of her works have been translated and published internationally. Her novella “Panda Breeder” won Smokelong Quarterly’s Best Flash Fiction of 2019, while “Spore” won Best Short Story at the 2020 Chinese Reader’s Choice Awards. Its translation was published in the Clarkesworld Magazine in 2021. Her latest short story collection in Chinese, The Later Human (2023), depicts a future world of AI, cyborgs, and avatars, where ordinary people struggle to keep up with technology.
