We all know that summer is hot, but how many of us have actually experienced extremely hot temperatures that persist day after day without relief? How will it affect how we live our lives, and what does it make us feel?
This past summer, we’ve watched wildfires burn in the mountains above the southwestern city of Chongqing, and reports of persistent high temperatures exceeding 40 degrees emerged from the adjacent Sichuan province, and all around southern China and the Northern Hemisphere.
